The Psycho Mother

My name is Jennifer Narramore Boyanton, and I am The Psycho Mother.  I live in Atlanta, GA.  I am a mid forties stay-at-home mother of three perfect, brilliant children, who have never done anything wrong in their entire lives. BWAHAHAHA NOT!  Jack (Mini Me) is about to graduate from high school; Eliza (The Middle Child) is in 8th grade; and Truman (The Baby) is in 2nd grade. I do think that their grandparents will tell you that they can do absolutely no wrong.  I have been blissfully married to their father (JC)  for 20 years this May. BWAHAHAHA!  WHO?, who? I ask you, has actually been blissfully married for 20 years?! We have a very stable marriage, built on trust and love, and we have a very happy relationship.  I cannot imagine spending the rest of my life with anyone else, and do not want to; however,  I do not think I have been blissful for more than a few hours in my entire life, and I hate to say this, but that was probably drug induced…. 😉

I write about real life.  I write about what it is like to live with a husband and three kids on a day to day basis–juggling the schedules, the homework, the personalities and such.  I also write how I talk.  Right, wrong, or indifferent….some may be offended.  There is profanity.  If the F-Bomb easily offends you, then thepsychomother.com is probably not going to be your favorite blog.  My Mothah calls me just about every time I post a new story and says, “Jennifah, couldn’t you have left a few of those F-words out?”…… Sometimes, I will throw in a story from the olden days–what my kids have termed my childhood (one actually asked me if Rubik’s Cube’s were wooden when I was a child!)–or I may write one about a project I have been working on.  Besides being a mother, chef, chauffeur, laundress, and jack-of-all-trades, I am an artist.  I paint murals and furniture, and I sew.  I love to make just about anything.   Writing has always been a great passion of mine, and someday maybe I will write a book.

  1. I think you and I have a VERY similar sense of humor and view of reality. Anyone who can use the f-bomb in their intro is at minimum a minor hero of mine. Hanging on your every word here in Wisconsin. . . Cheers!

Great sense of humour, just my style. Any heading with the word ‘psycho’ in it will grab my attention! I liked reading your babies’ sleep stories. Mine are all grown up now, with babies of their own, but I can relate to that terrible time when middle child never slept. Or ate. I look forward to reading more!

  3. You KNOW I think your blog is terrific! I have nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award. Feel free to click on the link to accept and participate–https://greaterthangravity.wordpress.com/2016/03/03/and-the-winner-is/

  4. Another kindred spirit! Great blog, great sense of humour, great potty mouth … what more could a girl ask for? Looking forward to reading more of your delightful posts 🙂

Relates to everyone. Thanks for keeping it real. Life’s situations that most people deal with and can relate too. It’s a gift to write it like you feel it.
My Wife and I are your 2 newest fans. Thanks for the laughs and smiles. Cass
